Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – Kabul: Mawlawi Gul Hassan Hassan, the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Moscow, said in an interview with the Russian TASS news agency that trade relations between Afghanistan and Russia are growing and if some problems, especially banking restrictions, are resolved, Afghanistan will be able to import oil, gas, medicines, industrial goods, grains, vegetable oils and other products from Russia.
The Afghan ambassador added that in return, the Islamic Emirate is able to export its products, including fresh and dried fruits, vegetables, medicinal plants, carpets and mineral resources, to Russia. He emphasized that the implementation of these export and import operations can significantly increase the volume of bilateral trade.
Maulvi Gul Hassan also noted that the Islamic Emirate is trying to open an exhibition of Afghan products in Moscow to provide a platform for introducing domestic products and developing economic relations with Russia.
It is worth noting that Russia was the first country to officially recognize the Islamic Emirate, and now the development of economic and trade relations is considered one of the priorities of both sides.
