Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs issued a press release saying that Maulvi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, met with Taria Magnussen Waterdal, Director General of the Norwegian Committee for Afghanistan.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs says that in this meeting, Maulvi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai said that the ministry is trying to meet the needs of the labor market by providing assistance to youth, returnees, prisoners, and people recovering from addiction and providing technical and literary training to reduce the unemployment rate in the country.
The Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs also asked the head of the Norwegian Committee for Afghanistan to expand its activities in accordance with the principles and laws of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
On the other hand, Tarja Magnussen Waterdal said: "Given the possibilities, we are trying to accelerate our activities in coordination with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and related institutions and provide services to Afghan citizens in various fields."
