According to the Pakistani newspaper "Minute Mirror", diplomatic sources said that Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is expected to represent Islamabad in these talks.
According to an Arab official in the West Asian region, who asked not to be named, the Iran-US talks are likely to be held in Turkey on Friday.
Earlier, the American website Axios reported that Abbas Araqchi is likely to meet with Steve Whittock in Istanbul.
The Pakistani newspaper "Minute Mirror" wrote in its report on the possible upcoming dialogue between Iran and the United States: "A meeting will probably be held in Turkey on Friday, facilitated by the diplomatic efforts of Egypt, Qatar, Turkey and Oman."
