Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Within the framework of continuous coordination and consultation among Arab countries, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry announced in a statement that the country's Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati met with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and discussed regional developments, especially the situation in Gaza and the escalation of tensions.
During the meeting, the two sides emphasized the depth and special nature of the brotherly relations between Cairo and Riyadh and the need to strengthen the strategic partnership frameworks between the two countries, and called for continued coordination to secure common interests and respond to regional challenges.
The Egyptian and Saudi foreign ministers also stressed the importance of containing tensions and preventing the spread of conflicts by intensifying political and diplomatic efforts to resolve crises.
Referring to the complex nature of the current challenges in the region, the two sides considered continued Arab convergence and coordination as the main pillar of protecting Arab national security against regional crises.
In another part of the meeting, developments in the Gaza Strip were discussed, and the need to implement the commitments of the second phase of the US President's plan, support the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, accelerate the deployment of the International Stabilization Force to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire, ensure the unhindered entry of humanitarian aid, and prepare the ground for reconstruction and early improvement of the situation was emphasized.
The situation in Sudan was also another topic of discussion, and the two sides called for continued coordination to quickly achieve a humanitarian ceasefire, a complete cessation of hostilities, and the start of a political process with sole Sudanese ownership.
In this regard, in a separate meeting with Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, Badr Abdel Ati emphasized the depth of relations between Cairo and Abu Dhabi, and emphasized the strengthening of bilateral cooperation and the continuation of political coordination between the two countries.
In this meeting, in addition to reviewing the developments in Gaza and Sudan, the Iranian nuclear file was also discussed.

Abdul-Ati also emphasized that the current priority is to reduce tensions by strengthening political and diplomatic tools, which can prevent the spread of crises and maintain regional security and stability.
He considered continued coordination and consultation among Arab countries to be the best way to address current challenges and protect the interests of Arab nations.
