On the occasion of commemorating the middle of Sha'ban, the anniversary of the birth of the Savior of the world of humanity, Imam Mahdi (may Allah have mercy on him), the organizational meeting "The Necessity of Our Appearance and Duty" was held in the evening (Tuesday, February 3) with the presence of a group of active members of the Center for Social and Cultural Activities in Tabyan, in the Shahid Misbah Husseiniyeh in the holy city of Mashhad.
In this ceremony, Hojjatoleslam Walmuslimin Seyyed Mohammad Hashemi Rasti, head of the office of the Tabyan Center for Social and Cultural Activities in Khorasan Razavi, explained several key components of waiting in a concise manner.
He considered the first and most important component of waiting to be faith and knowledge, and said: A waiting believer has a firm faith in monotheism and always knows God Almighty is present and watching over all his actions, words, decisions and behaviors, and sees himself in the presence of the Lord of the worlds. In addition, a true waiting person has knowledge of the position of the infallible Imam, the path of guidance of the Imams (peace be upon them) and their practical behavior; a path that is completely consistent with the behavior of the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family) and the path to achieving monotheism and monotheism.
Hashemi Rasti called the second component of waiting hope and foresight, and added: A waiting society never surrenders to despair and hopelessness; Because the waiting believer has a heartfelt belief and certainty in the victory of truth over falsehood, and this is the definitive promise of the Lord of the Worlds. Citing the noble verse, “Say: Truth has come and falsehood has vanished,” he emphasized that the complete fulfillment of this divine promise will be realized in the era of the reappearance of Hazrat Mahdi, may God hasten his return, and with the establishment of a world-wide government of justice.
He considered pragmatism and responsibility to be other pillars of waiting and emphasized: A true waiting person does not remain indifferent to the developments in the Islamic world and the issues of Islamic societies, but rather measures his decisions, behavior, and positions with the practical conduct of the infallible Imams (peace be upon them) and seriously pursues his individual and social responsibilities as a religious duty.
Referring to unity as another component of the waiting, the head of the Tebyan Center office in Khorasan Razavi said: The waiting community is a united community and never seeks discord and division, but rather confronts the factors of division as tools of the enemy. He added that the Mahdavi community is meaningless without Islamic cohesion and brotherhood, and strengthening unity is a religious, divine, and social duty for the waiting community.
Hashemi Rasti continued by listing enemy recognition as one of the basic requirements of the waiting community and noted: The waiting believer must have a precise and conscious analysis of world developments, recognize the enemies of Islam and Muslims, and act according to his ability against the conspiracies and plots of global arrogance.
Finally, he prayed for the hastening of the passing of the Imam of the Age, may God hasten his return, and asked the attendees to institutionalize the Mahdavi lifestyle in their individual and social lives by making a new covenant with the Imam of the Time (peace be upon him).
