Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press release saying that in this meeting, representatives of the relevant ministries of the Islamic Emirate said that as a result of the decree of the Leader of the Islamic Emirate prohibiting poppy cultivation, the cultivation of this phenomenon in Afghanistan has almost reached zero.
Islamic Emirate officials also expressed concern about synthetic drugs and said that the sources of these drugs are outside the borders of Afghanistan and if they are not stopped, not only Afghanistan, but also the region and the entire world will be harmed.
On the other hand, representatives of international organizations and various countries praised the Islamic Emirate's fight against drugs in their speeches and assured of assistance and cooperation in this regard.
It is worth noting that the Islamic Emirate's serious fight against the cultivation, smuggling, and sale of drugs is ongoing.
