Rumors are one of the means of misguidance in the era of occultation, and the person of the Imam is not absent, but rather his title is absent
Ayatollah Seyyed Mohsen Hojjat, one of the country's prominent scholars, coinciding with the mid-month of Sha'ban and the anniversary of the birth of Imam Mahdi (a.s.), (Wednesday, the 15th of the month of Sha'ban) in the Sakhi pilgrimage in Kabul, considered rumors to be one of the factors of misguidance in the era of occultation, and emphasizing the intellectual independence of Muslims, stated that the person of the Imam is not absent, but rather his title is absent.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: As the mid-month of Shaban approaches and the anniversary of the birth of Imam Mahdi (a.s.), Ayatollah Sayyed Mohsen Hojjat, one of the country's prominent scholars, today, Wednesday, 15th of Dil, at a ceremony to celebrate the mid-month of Shaban at the Sakhi Shrine in Kabul, introduced rumors as one of the ways to go astray in the era of occultation and said: The major occultation is a test to identify the straight path.

Ayatollah Mohsen Hojjat said: For this reason, throughout history, some people have claimed Mahdism; from Qadiani to the Bab and Baha'u'llah, unfortunately some were deceived by their rumors, and if you want your religion to be preserved, do not follow rumors.

He criticized the rumor spreaders in cyberspace for distorting the facts and referring to the recent events in Iran, he said: In cyberspace, they have changed the places of the martyr and the executioner.

Ayatollah Hojjat clarified: Sometimes a lie is repeated so much that the liar himself believes it, but those who seek the truth will not be deceived by these attacks.

Ayatollah Mohsen Hojjat added: In the era of occultation, you must have intellectual independence and not surrender completely to non-infallible people and not give your authority to anyone.

He continued: Except for the infallible Imams (peace be upon them), everyone can make mistakes; even in jurisprudence, if a follower realizes that his follower has made a mistake on an issue, he should not follow him on that issue, because on the Day of Judgment, man himself will be held accountable and only the infallible Imam (peace be upon him) is immune from error and man should not become a slave of slaves.

He concluded by stating: The person of the Imam is not absent, but rather his title is absent; This means that the Imam is present among the people, but the people do not know him by that title. He is present among the people, and according to the narrations, when he appears, the people will say, "We have seen him before." In this era, be assured that the expectation of the final apocalypse is the highest of deeds.
