Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that it has summoned the head of the German diplomatic mission in the country. During the summons, Moscow's strong protest was conveyed to the accusations made by the German government against an employee of the Russian embassy.
The Russian Foreign Ministry added: The accusations made against an employee of the Russian embassy in Germany are completely unfounded and Moscow strongly denies these accusations.
The ministry emphasized: For this reason, Moscow is also taking a similar action, declaring an employee of the German embassy as persona non grata.
Berlin had expelled a Russian diplomat in January, alleging espionage.
