Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The spokesman for the Iranian Parliament’s Presidium said that the Strait of Hormuz has become a strategic advantage for Iran in the new security conditions and will not return to its previous status.
He added: The management of this important waterway is in the hands of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and no country will have the right to pass through it without Iran’s permission, and Iran will defend this strategic position with all its military might.
The Iranian official said: "The enemies thought they could destroy the Iranian Navy, but the armed forces were not only not weakened, but also became more experienced on the battlefield and identified new capabilities."
He noted: "The path of the Islamic Republic is neither compromise nor surrender, but resistance to consolidate Iran's position in the new world order."
