Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Hooman Fathi, acting deputy director of Iran's Marketing Development, sent a letter to the head of the Ports and Maritime Organization regarding the permission for ships carrying humanitarian goods to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
The letter states: Referring to the agreement and announcement of the powerful government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the victorious armed forces of our country to permit the passage of ships carrying humanitarian goods, especially essential goods and livestock inputs, through the Strait of Hormuz, it is requested that in order to allow the passage of ships that are heading to Iranian ports or are present in the Sea of Oman, the necessary obligations for the passage of these ships be placed on the agenda based on the issued protocols. The list of relevant ships that are ready to pass through the Strait of Hormuz will be sent for coordination. Wishing victory to the warriors of Islam.
