Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Israeli media announced today, Saturday, that a soldier of the Israeli army was killed in a clash with Hezbollah forces in southern Lebanon.
Around the targeted area, operations to transfer dead and wounded Israeli soldiers were monitored.
There were also reports of a group of Zionist soldiers being targeted with a bomb and the destruction of two Merkava tanks in the area.
On Saturday, the Lebanese Islamic Resistance announced that it had carried out a series of operations against settlements and military bases in northern occupied Palestine.
Lebanese Hezbollah also announced that in defense of Lebanon and its people, at 11:00 on Saturday, April 4, 2026, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy army soldiers in the Yeftah barracks with a barrage of missiles.
Targeting Occupiers’ Gatherings and Bases in the North The Islamic Resistance announced in its successive statements that it had targeted two gatherings of soldiers and military vehicles of the occupation forces in the settlements of Beit Hillel and Mesgav Am, and another gathering in the Yeftah barracks with rocket fire.
The Resistance also targeted the Mount Niriya base, part of the Meron Air Operations and Surveillance Base, in the north of occupied Palestine with rocket fire.
As a preventive warning to a number of settlements in the north of occupied Palestine, the Resistance announced that it had targeted the settlements of Kiryat Shmona and Metula twice.
