The Uzbek foreign minister has asked the Pakistani foreign minister to resolve his problems with Afghanistan through negotiations.

According to reports, Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiar Saidov has called on Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaqdar to resolve Pakistan's disputes with Afghanistan peacefully through negotiations and diplomatic channels.
"He also pointed to the border tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan and stressed the need to reduce tensions and pursue issues through diplomatic channels," the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
It is worth mentioning that a meeting with Pakistan was held in China recently.
