Heavy Israeli airstrikes on southern and eastern Lebanon
Local sources have reported heavy airstrikes and artillery strikes by the Israeli army on large areas in southern and eastern Lebanon. These attacks caused numerous explosions this morning (Monday), and according to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, at least 10 people were killed and 56 injured.

Al Jazeera reported that heavy Israeli airstrikes and artillery strikes are underway on large areas in southern and eastern Lebanon.

The report states that the towns of "Nabatiyya Al-Fuqa" and "Shokin" in Nabatiyeh Governorate, the towns of "Arzoun" and "Deir Al-Zahrani" in the Southern Governorate, and the towns of "Sahmar" and "Mashghara" in the Bekaa Governorate in eastern Lebanon have been targeted by the occupiers.

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health also announced that the Israeli regime's attacks on southern Lebanon in recent hours have left at least 10 martyrs and 56 wounded.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, the Israeli regime's attacks have intensified in recent days and have spread to Beirut and its southern suburbs in addition to the south. The overall statistics since the start of the new conflicts (since early March 2026) show that more than 1,400 people have died in Lebanon and thousands have been injured. More than a million people have been displaced and infrastructure such as hospitals, mosques and bridges have been damaged. The Israeli regime has claimed that these attacks are targeting Hezbollah infrastructure, but reports indicate civilian casualties and damage to civilian centers.
