Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman for the presidency of the Russian Federation, said today (Monday) that the United States and the Zionist regime have set the entire West Asian region on fire by starting an imposed war against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During a press conference in the Kremlin, Peskov stated that the American-Zionist aggression against Iran has very serious consequences, including for the global economy; he explained: "Tensions in the Middle East have increased following the war in Iran and almost the entire region has been involved."
According to the "Sputnik" news agency, he then continued: "The geography of the war in Iran has expanded and Russia had warned before the conflict began that its negative consequences were inevitable."
The Russian official also declined to comment on US President Donald Trump's threats against Iranian energy infrastructure related to the Strait of Hormuz.
