Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade today (Monday, April 6) issued a press release stating that Nuruddin Azizi, Minister of the Ministry, met and discussed with Tursunkulov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Turdakun Sediqov, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Kabul.
In this meeting, Minister Azizi appreciated the participation of the Kyrgyz delegation in the Afghanistan-Central Asia Consultative Meeting and emphasized the expansion and strengthening of trade and economic relations between the two countries. Mr. Tursunkulov also called Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan two brotherly countries and emphasized the many cultural commonalities between the two nations.
The two sides expressed satisfaction with the growth of bilateral trade in recent years and emphasized the need to increase the volume of trade exchanges to one billion dollars. Minister Azizi also proposed to use the capacity of large construction companies and Afghan human resources in construction projects in Kyrgyzstan.
This meeting demonstrates the determination of the two countries to strengthen economic relations and expand bilateral cooperation.
