Napoli rise above Milan; Conte above Allegri
Napoli moved up to second in Serie A with a 1-0 win over Milan, taking Antonio Conte's side above Massimiliano Allegri's Milan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): In the 31st week of Serie A, Napoli moved up to second place in the table with a 1-0 win over Milan at the Maradona Stadium, passing the Rossoneri to move behind Inter.

Conte's team struggled to feed Giovane without Hoylund at the start of the game, which is why Spinazzola tried to create a threat and open the opponent's goal, but was unsuccessful.

Milan responded to Napoli's efforts with moves from the wings by Nkonko; he registered the only important shot of the visiting team in the first 45 minutes. At the start of the second half, Giovane was more active and even forced Magnan to react with a beautiful left-footed shot from distance.

The game looked set to end in a goalless draw, but the arrival of Alisson Santos and Politano changed the course of the game. In the 79th minute, the Brazilian made a creative move for Gutiérrez, who crossed to the far post, setting up the former Sassuolo player for Politano to beat Magnan to make it 1-0.

Allegri tried to react to the home goal by sending on Liao, but this change was not enough. In the end, Napoli won 1-0 and moved up to second place in the table with 65 points, 7 points behind Inter and now 2 points ahead of Milan, who are in third place with 63 points.
