Afghan Voice Agency (AVNA) - Kabul: The Afghan Embassy in Russia announced the participation and speech of the Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to the Russian Federation, Gul Hassan Hassan, at the annual meeting of the Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision held in Moscow.
The meeting was held to provide information and coordination on the Kazan International Economic Forum, which was attended by high-ranking Russian officials and representatives of various Islamic countries, the embassy said.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Afghan ambassador met with Tatarstan President Rostam Minikhanov and the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations and joint cooperation, and also emphasized the importance and continued presence of Afghan delegations in the Kazan Forum, the embassy said in a statement.
The Kazan Economic Forum is one of the most important platforms for interaction between Russia and Islamic countries, which is held annually with the widespread participation of government and economic representatives.
