Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): With the announcement of the ceasefire between Iran and the US, many countries, officials, and international institutions welcomed the cessation of hostilities and emphasized the necessity of continuing the path of diplomacy and establishing peace in the region; reactions that in many cases were accompanied by an acknowledgement of the failure of the policies of pressure and threats against Iran.
In this context, a military analyst of the Zionist regime, referring to the failure of Tel Aviv and Washington's goals against Iran, likened the operation known as "Lion's Roar" to "the meowing of cats" after the collapse of Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump's dreams; an expression that is considered a reflection of the failure of the war-mongering calculations against the Islamic Republic.
At the same time, the Associated Press reported that within the framework of the ceasefire agreement, Iran and Oman will receive tolls for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz for a two-week period; an issue that is assessed as indicating Tehran's active role in managing strategic energy routes in the region.
At the regional level, the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, welcoming the process of reducing tensions, announced that Baghdad supports any regional and international effort to contain crises and strengthen the language of dialogue and diplomacy, and emphasizes the need for full adherence to the ceasefire. In this regard, the Iraqi Islamic Resistance also announced that it would suspend its operations for two weeks based on the ceasefire agreement between Iran and the United States.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry also welcomed the announced decision to suspend military operations and considered it a step towards reducing tensions in the region.
In the United States, some officials also pointed to the political consequences of the agreement for Washington. Chris Coons, a Democratic US senator, criticized Donald Trump's performance, saying that, as in previous times, he initially made strong threats but ultimately backed down; a process that, according to him, has damaged America's reputation and position on the global stage.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian Prime Minister praised Iran's ten-point proposal, describing it as a harbinger of the return of stability and peace to the region and emphasized that this plan could pave the way for reducing tensions in the Middle East.
The UN spokesperson also called on all parties involved to adhere to their obligations within the framework of international law and the provisions of the ceasefire.
Among the countries in the region, Saudi Arabia also welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Iran and the United States and appreciated the diplomatic efforts to achieve it.
In East Asia, the Japanese government considered a real reduction in tensions in the Middle East to be very important and expressed hope that continued diplomatic efforts would lead to a final agreement to resolve the crisis. Japanese officials also emphasized the importance of dialogue with Iran on energy stability.
China also supported the process of reducing tensions and announced that Beijing would continue to play a constructive role in restoring peace and stability to the Persian Gulf and the Middle East.
In Europe, the British Prime Minister welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Iran and the United States and called for cooperation between various countries to maintain this ceasefire and turn it into a lasting agreement.
In this regard, the Foreign Minister of Oman emphasized that the world has temporarily retreated from facing a catastrophe, but serious negotiations will be necessary to achieve a lasting peace to prevent the crisis from returning.
French President Emmanuel Macron also welcomed the ceasefire and stressed the need to extend it to Lebanon and prevent the crisis from spreading to other regions.
The sum of these reactions shows that after the failure of the policy of pressure and threats against Iran, many countries are now emphasizing the need for dialogue, respect for regional balances, and acceptance of Iran's role in ensuring stability in the Middle East.
