Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced that Afghanistan and Pakistan have reached a preliminary agreement during recent talks on rapidly reducing tensions in border areas and improving bilateral relations.
According to a statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry, this agreement was reached within the framework of Beijing's diplomatic efforts to contain security crises and strengthen the dialogue process between the two sides.
The statement said that China has been in contact with the Afghan and Pakistani sides through diplomatic and security channels in recent weeks and has prepared the ground for these talks.
Regional sources have also reported that this agreement was reached after several rounds of intensive talks in the city of Urumqi, focusing on managing border tensions, preventing escalation of conflicts, and establishing communication mechanisms between the two sides.
