Sharif meets Vance: We are eager to facilitate the parties to the talks towards lasting peace
Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in a meeting with J.D. Vance, appreciated the commitment of both Iranian and American delegations to constructive engagement and expressed hope that these talks will serve as a step towards lasting peace in the region.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Hours ago, the Pakistani Prime Minister met with the US Vice President.

It is said that he emphasized in this meeting: Pakistan looks forward to continuing to facilitate both sides in progressing towards lasting peace in the region.

On the other hand, it is said that at the same time as the high-ranking Iranian delegation held intensive consultations with Pakistani officials in Islamabad, the Islamic Republic of Iran conveyed its four fundamental and non-negotiable conditions for any agreement to the mediator.

These conditions include "establishing sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz", "full payment of compensation and war damages by the aggressor".

Iran has also called for the “unconditional release of frozen assets” and, most importantly, “the establishment of a lasting and tangible ceasefire across the entire geography of the axis of resistance.”

Tehran, rejecting any division between the battlefronts, emphasizes the integrated security of West Asia.

Meanwhile, reports say that the talks between Vance and the Pakistani Prime Minister have concluded and the media is awaiting the results.

According to Fars, if Iran’s preconditions are not accepted, the talks will not take place.
