The intensive talks that began on Saturday morning with the efforts and mediation of Pakistan have continued without interruption until now, and numerous messages and texts have been exchanged between the two sides. Iranian negotiators are using all their strength, experience, and knowledge to protect Iran’s rights and interests. The heavy burden of our elders, loved ones, and compatriots has made our determination to pursue the interests and rights of the Iranian nation more determined than ever.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman stated: “Nothing can and should not stop us from pursuing our great historical mission towards our beloved homeland and noble Iranian civilization. The Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to use all means, including diplomacy, to secure national interests and protect the country’s interests.”
He said: “During the past 24 hours, various aspects of the main negotiation issues, including the Strait of Hormuz, the nuclear issue, war reparations, the lifting of sanctions, and a complete end to the war against Iran and in the region, were discussed.”
Baghaei added: “The success of this diplomatic process depends on the seriousness and goodwill of the other side, and refraining from excessiveness and illegal demands, and accepting Iran’s legitimate rights and interests.”
The spokesman for the Iranian diplomatic service stated: "We appreciate the warm-hearted and noble government and people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for hosting the talks and their excellent efforts in advancing this process."
