Ankara: "The Hitler of the Age" Must Be Accountable for His Crimes
In response to the recent statements of the Israeli Prime Minister against Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish Presidency sharply stated that Benjamin Netanyahu lacks any moral legitimacy to advise others and should be brought to justice for his crimes.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Burhanuddin Duran, Head of the Media Department of the Turkish Presidency, wrote on the "X" channel: "Netanyahu, who committed genocide in Gaza and attacked seven countries in the region, has now dared to target our president out of desperation."

He added, according to RT, "Netanyahu is a criminal who is being pursued by justice and has no allies. His strategy to maintain his political survival is to drag the region into chaos and conflict."

Duran continued: “Everyone knows that Netanyahu lacks the moral values and legitimacy to preach to others... He will be tried for his crimes against humanity sooner or later.”

He concluded his speech by saying: “Under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey will continue its fight against the oppressors for a more just, peaceful and secure world.”

The Turkish Foreign Ministry also wrote about Netanyahu’s position: “Netanyahu, who is described as the Hitler of our time due to his crimes, is a self-made man with a long history. The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for him for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Israel is also being tried for genocide at the International Court of Justice under his leadership.”

The ministry added: “Netanyahu now intends to undermine the ongoing peace talks and continue his expansionist policies in the region. Otherwise, he will be tried in Israel and possibly sentenced to prison.”

The Turkish Foreign Ministry stressed: “The targeting of our president by the Israeli authorities with baseless, arrogant and false accusations is the result of their dissatisfaction with the facts that we have exposed in all circles.”

The ministry also stressed that Turkey “will continue to stand by the innocent civilians and continue its efforts to hold Netanyahu accountable for his crimes.”

The Turkish response came after Netanyahu wrote on social media on Saturday: “Israel under my leadership will continue to fight the Iranian regime and its affiliates, unlike Erdogan who embraces them.”

Erdogan has previously described Netanyahu as a “criminal blinded by hatred and blood” and said, “Anyone who follows Hitler’s path will destroy himself before he destroys humanity.”

Relations between Turkey and Israel have been strained since the Gaza war, with Ankara joining a genocide lawsuit against Israel at the International Court of Justice and suspending trade relations with it.
