Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): A senior official in Keir Starmer's government announced that the differences over the Iran war "have undoubtedly strained relations with the Trump administration" and that Britain had made the "right decision" in not joining the conflict.
British Health Secretary Wes Strait expressed his disappointment in the failure of the peace talks in an interview with Sky News this morning and criticized Trump personally.
He said that the US President has made "inflammatory, provocative and outrageous" statements on social media and that he is "not sure it will ever be clear" what the President means in some of his posts.
Trump has repeatedly criticized Britain and other European countries for staying away from the war.
“I think we’ve all come to the conclusion that President Trump should be judged by what he does, not just what he says,” Streiting said.
“Ultimately, the only way we can fix this is to reach an agreement with Iran that takes nuclear weapons out of their reach and out of their ambitions,” he added.
