Bloomberg: Two supertankers change course in Strait of Hormuz
Bloomberg reported, citing ship tracking data, that two empty supertankers attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz and enter the Persian Gulf on Sunday, but changed course at the last minute, just after the end of negotiations between the United States and Iran.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Three large oil tankers approached the strategic waterway from the Gulf of Oman late Saturday.

Bloomberg notes: At a checkpoint, the Iraqi-flagged Agios Fanorios 1 and the Pakistani-flagged Shalamar, which were heading for Das Island in the United Arab Emirates, turned back.

The media outlet notes that “their change of heart came just as negotiators in Islamabad announced that they had failed to reach an agreement.”
