Dmitry Peskov: Ukraine peace talks are on hold
The Kremlin spokesman announced that the peace talks are currently on hold, referring to the process of talks on the Ukraine crisis.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Russia Today, Dmitry Peskov said at a press conference: The United States has currently put the talks on Ukraine on hold and Russia understands the American side's preoccupation.

The Kremlin spokesman said: "Special military operations" will continue after the end of the Easter ceasefire until Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shows the courage to sign a peace agreement with Russia.

Peskov said: Russia wants a lasting peace, and this can be achieved even today, if Zelensky decides. The differences between Russia and Ukraine on the issue of territories will be limited to a few kilometers.

Stating that Russia is ready to export the remaining gas from sales to other markets to Europe, he noted: Moscow receives many requests to buy gas from alternative markets and the abandonment of Russian energy resources shows the short-sightedness of the leaders of European countries.

The Russian diplomat said: Russia, with its size and power, has always caused concern and fear for many Europeans. England, Poland and some other European countries have always preferred to use Moscow as an "imaginary enemy" to solve domestic political problems.
