Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Al-Mayadeen, Pope Leo XIV said in an interview with Reuters in response to Trump's attack on him: I continue to condemn the war despite Trump's verbal attacks.
He added: I do not play a political role and I have no desire to enter into a debate with Trump.
Yesterday, Trump had said in an insulting speech that he hates the Pope and loves his brother Louis much more!
Trump also criticized Pope Leo XIV for his stances on US policy and said that he did not want the Pope to criticize the US president.
Pope Leo XIV expressed sympathy with the Lebanese people on Sunday and said that there is a moral duty to protect them. He also described Trump's brazen threats against Iranian civilization as unacceptable.
