Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): This telephone conversation takes place one day after Iran-US talks in Islamabad, in which the parties could not find a framework to resolve the conflict.
According to Iranian officials, the American side is not willing to conduct purposeful and serious negotiations in a hasty and non-diplomatic approach, and it prevents reaching a solution by making ambitious demands.
Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, wrote on his page on X social network: "During the intensive negotiations held at the highest level in the last 47 years, Iran entered into negotiations with the United States in good faith to end the war. But just when there were only a few steps away from the "Islamabad Memorandum", we were faced with extravagance, constant change of goals and threat of siege. Apparently no lessons are learned.
He said that goodwill creates goodwill; Enmity brings enmity."
On the other hand, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, today (Monday) in a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and the talks between Iran and the United States in Islamabad.
It is worth mentioning that the foreign minister of our country had a telephone conversation with his Saudi counterpart today.
The talks between Iran and the United States were held on Saturday, April 22nd, with the mediation of Pakistan, and after a day of intensive and tough negotiations, the parties did not reach a definite result to end the recent imposed war.
