Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Joe Kent, who resigned from his position in protest against the war against Iran, believes that Israel insists on the issue of "zero enrichment" in order to defeat the American talks with Iran.
This former American security official wrote on the X page (former Twitter): "If we do not restrain the Israelis and do not allow them to participate in our decisions, future negotiations (with Iran) will fail."
According to him, "the Israelis are trying to enrich uranium to zero, because they know that it is a poisonous medicine for Iran and will lead to a continuation of the war. Since 2003, Iran has pledged not to produce or acquire nuclear weapons.
It seems that in this comment, Kent referred to the fatwa of the martyr leader of the revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Imam Khamenei, regarding the prohibition of nuclear weapons.
The former member of the Trump administration continued his message, calling for Washington to contain Tel Aviv and prioritize the Trump administration to the interests of the United States.
He wrote: "An agreement can be reached on uranium enrichment levels and monitoring (of Iran's nuclear program), ending the war and opening the Strait of Hormuz." "This is only possible if we treat the Israelis as a junior partner and put our own interests first."
