The high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of the Islamic Emirate visited the commercial port of Vysotsk during its trip to Russia and discussed ways to expand commercial cooperation, especially in the field of agricultural products, with the authorities of this port.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock published a news release and said that based on the information provided, this delegation headed by Moulvi, Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, visited the commercial port of Vysotsk in the Russian Federation and had a meeting and discussion with the officials of this port.

In this technical and official visit, port activities, logistic systems and export and import mechanisms of agricultural products were comprehensively evaluated. The port of Vysotsk, which is located in the Baltic Sea region, facilitates the process of transferring grains, container goods and other commercial goods by using advanced equipment, standardized warehouses and digital management systems.

During this meeting, the two sides had important discussions about the development of trade in agricultural products. On the part of the Russian Federation, the issue of grain export, especially wheat, was raised based on the needs of Afghanistan. On the other hand, the Afghan delegation emphasized the export of fresh and dried fruits and vegetables to Russia and highlighted the country's production capacity and export opportunities.

It should be mentioned that in recent years, the efforts to expand the economic relations between Afghanistan and Russia have increased and the agriculture sector has emerged as one of the key areas of cooperation between the two countries. Using Russia's experience in the field of logistics and export is one of the important priorities in these cooperations.
