Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Sergei Lavrov today (Wednesday) emphasized that the West is trying to dictate its policies to the countries of the world, saying "the West is trying to dictate even to the countries of Central Asia and the South Caucasus how they should regulate their relations."
Referring to the complexity of the events in the West Asian region, he continued, "The Middle East crisis is not going to be resolved anytime soon, and the efforts to "solve" it will almost certainly go nowhere.
In defense of the Islamic Republic's actions in defending Iran's territory against the aggression of the Zionist regime and the United States, Lavrov said, "The Persian Gulf countries are well aware that Iran would not have taken aggressive actions in the region without the attacks of the United States and Israel."
Regarding Iran-Russia relations, the Russian Foreign Minister emphasized that "Russia continues its relations with Iran in the framework of full compliance with international law."
Lavrov continued by emphasizing Iran's indisputable right to enrich uranium, "Russia will welcome any decision on enriched uranium that will satisfy Iran within the framework of its legal rights."
This Russian official then pointed to Russia's willingness to play a role in the current crisis and said, "Russia is fully prepared to play a role in resolving the issue of Iran's enriched uranium."
Emphasizing the peacefulness of Iran's nuclear activities, he said, "The International Atomic Energy Agency has never recorded that uranium enrichment in Iran had military purposes. "The right to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes is an inherent right for Iran."
The Russian Foreign Minister further asked the United States to stop the war against Iran.
In this regard, he said, "I hope America is realistic and does not continue aggression in the Middle East; A situation that even the allies of this country are suffering from."
Lavrov's statements have been raised while Donald Trump invaded Iran's territory due to the illusion of Iran's nuclear weapons program, while Iran has repeatedly declared that it will never seek nuclear weapons and that its nuclear program is completely peaceful and civilian.
