Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson said today at a press conference about the Pakistani delegation's visit to Iran, the country's efforts, the details of the Islamabad meeting, and Iran's claim of aggression: "Anyone who has logic will not be aggressive."
He added: Regarding the talks, the exchange of messages continues. Since Sunday, numerous messages have been exchanged through Pakistan. Today, we are likely to host a delegation from Pakistan to continue the talks in Islamabad. During this visit, the views of both sides will be discussed in detail.
Regarding the alleged details of Iran's enrichment in the talks and the issues under discussion, Baqaei said: "Every understanding has a generality." As long as the generality is not agreed upon, it is not possible to talk about the details, especially on an important issue such as war and peace and the importance of the two parties involved, namely Iran and the United States.
He continued to emphasize: "The speculation of the Western media is not acceptable to anyone. First, Iran's inalienable rights, which are confirmed by international law, cannot be waived. Iran's right to use nuclear energy is part of the rights we enjoy as a member of the NPT. Second, regarding the issues related to the level and type of enrichment, we have always said that this issue is open to discussion. We reiterated that Iran should be able to continue enrichment based on need."
Regarding the US Vice President's claim, he emphasized: "Iran's position is clear, Iran has never had its nuclear program for anything other than peaceful purposes. The fact that Iran does not turn to weapons shows their confusion. The regime has set a trap by scaring the international community about something imaginary and nonexistent. Something that does not exist cannot be proven."
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman stated: “It was also said that the Iranian economy will flourish, we ourselves know how to flourish the economy. Those who threatened Iran and committed crimes against Iran are not in a position to bring Iran to prosperity.”
He added: “The Islamic Republic of Iran, while praising the legitimate resistance of the Lebanese people, has always emphasized the unbreakable bond between the resistance fronts. In the recent ceasefire agreement, “stopping the war in Lebanon” was also a fundamental element and was specified by the mediators.”
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman added: “The enemy’s breach of commitment and violation of the provisions of the agreement does not mean Iran’s retreat from its principled positions; rather, in accordance with diplomatic rules, if the other party continues to violate its commitments, Iran also reserves the right to proportionally reduce its commitments.”
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman noted: “The cowardly attack on the authority and supreme religious leadership of Iran is an eternal stain on the record of the United States, which revealed the depth of their hatred towards the sacred.”
He emphasized: “The inaction of the international community in response to these violations of norms has now affected other religious authorities in the world, including the Pope.”
