Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health, held a meeting with representatives of a number of international institutions.
The Ministry of Public Health announced that important issues such as strengthening coordination, timely addressing of problems, drug imports and regulatory restrictions, delays in customs clearance, quality control of drugs, and transferring projects from one province to another were discussed and reviewed in this meeting.
The meeting also emphasized creating more facilities in the customs sector, developing drug production within the country, and effectively using warehouses available at airports.
It is worth noting that the country's health sector has faced numerous challenges in recent years, including drug shortages, import problems, and weaknesses in domestic production infrastructure.
