Al-Hamidawy
The Secretary General of the Iraqi Kataib Hezbollah challenged the US's decision to set a financial reward for providing information about him by appearing publicly on the street.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): After the US military announced that it had set a financial reward for providing information about "Hajj Abu Hussein Al-Hamidawy", he appeared publicly and in broad daylight at the shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) yesterday.

This appearance took place just a few days after the US had announced that it had set a $10 million reward for any information about his whereabouts.

According to the released videos, Al-Hamidawy, 55, known as "Abu Hussein Al-Hamidawy", was present during the "Victory March" organized by supporters of the resistance. He was seen wearing a face mask and wearing an Arabic dress (black aqal and dashdasha) among a crowd of Hashd al-Shaabi forces.

At the same time, thousands of people took to the streets in the "Victory" march in Karbala, Mu'alla, in support of Iran and the resistance, holding pictures of the martyred leader of the revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, Ayatollah Sistani (may God protect them), and the martyrs of the resistance.

In this regard, "Ali al-Lami", an expert on Iraqi resistance groups, told "Al-Arabi al-Jadeed" that this action was taken to emphasize that he is alive and to refute rumors about his injury or fate after the series of US attacks on Hashd al-Shaabi positions in Baghdad and the provinces.

According to him, Hajj al-Hamidawi "has become one of the most important people wanted by America in Iraq."

The US effort to martyr Al-Hamidawi comes at a time when the Iraqi Kataib Hezbollah, along with other resistance groups, played a prominent role in attacking US positions and bases, as well as Kurdish separatist groups in the Kurdistan Region, during the Ramadan War.

Among the most notable achievements of the Iraqi groups was the destruction of an American refueling plane on the Syrian border, which resulted in the deaths of all six of its passengers; also, following numerous rocket and drone attacks, the US and NATO armies were forced to evacuate their soldiers from all bases and headquarters and transfer them to hotels or outside Iraq.
