Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Herat: In this meeting, Maulvi Saifullah Mohammadi, head of the Nimroz provincial governor’s office, held talks with Ali Reza Shahraki, Hirmand district governor of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and his accompanying delegation.
According to Maulvi Abdul Motawakil Tohidi, spokesman for the provincial governor’s office, the meeting was held in the presence of Maulvi Yar Mohammad Haqyar, head of foreign affairs in Nimroz province, and a number of other officials.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations, expanding cooperation, developing economic relations, facilitating trade, establishing coordination in transit affairs, and resolving existing challenges in this sector.
The provincial government spokesman added that the participants emphasized resolving problems through greater coordination between officials from both sides and considered it important to strengthen border relations between Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In the end, the parties emphasized the continuation of such meetings in order to improve coordination and address existing problems, and the meeting ended with blessings.
