Afghan Voice Agency (AVNA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce says that during his official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nooruddin Azizi met with the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Yugnievich Kuznetsov.
According to the ministry, the two sides discussed expanding economic cooperation, increasing the level of trade between Afghanistan and Belarus, as well as importing diesel and petrol from Belarus.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Industry and Trade invited Belarusian investors to take advantage of investment opportunities in Afghanistan, especially in the pharmaceutical and related industries.
According to the report, at the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to establish a joint working team at the level of deputies of the two ministries to pursue the issues raised, especially increasing the volume of trade between the two countries, in a practical manner.
In another statement, the ministry said that Nooruddin Azizi also participated in the opening ceremony of the INNOPROM Central Asia International Industrial Exhibition in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
It is worth mentioning that the INNOPROM Central Asia International Industrial Exhibition was held in Tashkent for three days and more than 60 companies from Afghanistan in the cotton, coal, spices and agricultural products sectors participated in it.
