Rejecting the alleged plan of the Zionist regime to create a "yellow line" in the south of the country, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament emphasized that no imposed border line is acceptable and Lebanon will not give up any part of its territory. Nabih Berri warned that the continued presence and occupation of Israel in southern Lebanon will be met with a reaction from the resistance.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, emphasized today, Tuesday, that the residents of the southern region of the country should not return to their homes anytime soon, because the Israeli enemy is accustomed to deception and betrayal.

In an interview with the newspaper "Al-Jumhuriya", Berri said about the Zionists' claim to create a "yellow line" in southern Lebanon: "There is no yellow line, no red line, no green line, and no other line. No line is important to us and we cannot accept such a thing in any way."

After the 10-day ceasefire announced by US President Donald Trump began, Israeli forces remained in the so-called “anti-tank missile defense line” in southern Lebanon.

Israel’s Army Radio recently reported that the regime intends to replicate the Gaza Yellow Line in southern Lebanon exactly; therefore, the destruction of villages in southern Lebanon will continue according to this plan.

The “Yellow Line” refers to the area to which Israeli forces were supposed to withdraw under the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10. This is not a physical border line, but a hypothetical line that divides the Gaza Strip into two parts; south of Gaza City and north of Khan Yunis.

Although the Yellow Line effectively meant the consolidation of the occupation in Gaza, the Zionists did not stop there and repeatedly went beyond this line, violating the ceasefire agreement.

According to the Israeli media, the Zionist regime accepted the Lebanese government’s plan during a meeting between its officials and Lebanese representatives in the United States; a plan that is completely anti-resistance.

Emphasizing that Israel must withdraw from the southern regions it has entered, the speaker of the Lebanese parliament stated: “If Israel continues its occupation through the yellow lines it draws or through its bases, it will have to face resistance forces every day.”

Stating that this territory belongs to Lebanon and that it is never acceptable for one meter to be taken away from it, he noted: “We did not initiate [the war] and we did not resist in vain, but they were the ones who imposed resistance on us with their occupation and aggression and forced us to resist to liberate the land and preserve the sovereignty of our country. Nothing has changed for us; we will stand firm in our position until the occupation ends and the enemy is driven out of our territory.”
