Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the Palestinian Territories, condemned Israel's action to seize the "Global Sustainability" flotilla in international waters.
Albanese wrote on the social network X, "How is it possible that Israel is allowed to attack and seize ships in international waters right near Greece/Europe?"
The UN official added, “Regardless of your opinion of apartheid Israel and its genocidal leaders, this action should send shockwaves across Europe. Apartheid knows no borders.”
This morning, the Israeli army, in an illegal move, attacked and detained the crew of the Stability Flotilla, a humanitarian aid flotilla carrying aid to Gaza, in international waters.
“It was decided to take control of the flotilla away from our shores due to its size and the presence of approximately 100 boats and 1,000 activists,” Israeli Army Radio announced.
