Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The embassy issued a statement saying that from June 1, applicants can register their visa applications through the German Federal Foreign Office’s Consular Services Portal and upload the required documents online.
The statement said that from this date, all work and study visa applications will be accepted only through the online system and the previous appointment process for applicants who have not received an appointment through the waiting list by May 1 will no longer be available.
The German Embassy has emphasized that this new system will make the process of reviewing files simpler, faster and more transparent.
Under this plan, applicants can upload their documents step by step and receive feedback online.
Also, after completing the documents, they will be able to independently and based on available capacities, book an in-person appointment at the Afghanistan Visa Section in Islamabad.
The announcement also states that if the application is complete from the beginning, the files will be prioritized for review and will reach the appointment stage in a shorter time.
According to the information provided, currently the visas that can be registered through this system include the EU Blue Card visa, work visa for university graduates, skilled workers with vocational training, work experience-based programs, job search visa, job opportunity card, as well as study and vocational training visa.
The German Embassy has asked applicants to refer to official sources to access the consular services portal.
