Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Al-Mayadeen, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Álvarez called for an end to the war against Iran and stressed the need to include Lebanon in this agreement.
Referring to the developments in southern Lebanon, Álvarez said that these events are based on “military and political diplomacy” and are similar to the developments in Gaza. He noted that this situation prevents residents from returning to their lands.
Concerning the American bases in Spain, Álvarez also said that they are still active after US President Donald Trump threatened to withdraw troops from them. He stressed that the final decision on these bases remains under Spanish sovereignty.
In this regard, Albarres criticized the arrest of a Spanish citizen by the Zionist regime in the Global Resistance Fleet.
