Resumption of the war against Gaza on Netanyahu
The Zionist regime's security cabinet is scheduled to hold a meeting today to examine the resumption of attacks and intensification of aggression against the Gaza Strip.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Hebrew channel "Kan" reported that the Zionist regime's security cabinet plans to examine the possibility of resuming the war in the Gaza Strip today (Sunday).

This comes at a time when Israel's repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement that was in place since October 10, 2025 continue, the latest of which was the martyrdom of three Palestinians in Gaza, which the occupying army also admitted to.

These developments come a few days after an Israeli military analyst warned in an interview with the Haaretz newspaper about the efforts of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the regime to resume the war in Gaza with the aim of gaining electoral gains on the eve of the general elections.

Kan also announced: “The security cabinet is scheduled to meet on Sunday to discuss the resumption of fighting in Gaza.” It also reported, citing an anonymous Israeli official, that the meeting was scheduled after Hamas was alleged to have failed to comply with the disarmament agreement. The official also claimed that contacts with the mediators in this regard are continuing.

However, these statements contradict a report by the same media outlet that had previously announced that Hamas had submitted its response to the proposal presented by the mediators within the framework of implementing the commitments of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement and preparing for talks on the arrangements for the second phase.

The movement has also proposed amendments to some clauses and demanded that Israel fully and immediately implement its commitments within the framework of the agreed timetable for ending the war.

Israeli political sources also claimed in an interview with Kan that Hamas initially agreed to discuss the weapons issue, but made it conditional on the realization of the political rights of the Palestinian people within the framework of comprehensive security arrangements.

The movement has also emphasized its demands for a complete ceasefire, a complete Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, the start of reconstruction, the entry of international forces, and the transfer of Gaza administration to a technocratic and entirely Palestinian committee.

The Israeli regime had previously given Hamas a 60-day deadline to hand over its weapons by the end of February, but the movement announced that Israel had not adhered to the commitments of the first phase.

In this context, Israeli Settlement Minister Orit Strok has also called for the resumption of the war in Gaza within the next few weeks if Hamas does not disarm.

Meanwhile, Bassem Naim, a member of the Hamas political bureau, emphasized yesterday that despite the Palestinian resistance's adherence to the ceasefire agreement with the Zionist regime, the situation in Gaza is a "semi-war" situation.

This Hamas official, while rejecting the issue of handing over weapons to the resistance, stated: Resistance is a legitimate right and weapons are a key tool within the framework of this right.
