US military activity intensifies in West Asia amid tensions with Iran
Following the escalation of tensions between Iran and the US, reports indicate an increase in the activity of US military aircraft in West Asia; according to flight tracking data, various types of transport, refueling and reconnaissance aircraft have been widely observed in the skies of this region and its surroundings.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): This Swedish media outlet reports that the majority of aircraft deployed in the region are Boeing C-17 Globemaster 3 transport aircraft.

According to Flight Radar 24, the C-17 Globemaster 3 aircraft is capable of carrying about 77 tons and about 100 personnel.

The media outlet, which tracks aircraft, reported that the C-5 Super Galaxy, the largest transport aircraft in the US Air Force, and the Boeing KC-46 Pegasus aircraft have also been observed over the airspace of Europe and the Middle East.

Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker tankers were also among the planes heading towards the Middle East region, and at least four tankers were also spotted around Israel and nearby areas, according to FlightRadar24.

In addition, a Boeing-135 reconnaissance aircraft was spotted flying in airspace near Bahrain.
