Putin at the Victory Day Parade: Victory Will Still Be Ours
Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized in his speech at the Victory Day parade in Moscow's Red Square that Russia won this war and will continue to win in the future.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Russian President Vladimir Putin said today in his speech at the Victory Day parade to mark the 81st anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War that Russian soldiers are confronting an attacking force supported and armed by the entire NATO bloc. He emphasized that, nevertheless, Russian forces are moving forward.

In his remarks today on the occasion of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War II, Putin said, "It was the people of the Soviet Union who saved the whole world from Nazism, and Russian soldiers made great sacrifices for the freedom and dignity of European nations during the Great Patriotic War."

The Russian president continued his speech, referring to the war in Ukraine, saying, “Victory has always been ours and will always be ours.”

The Russian president also said in his speech that the country is building modern weapons based on its war experience.

“Alongside the Russian soldiers, there are workers and designers, engineers, scientists and inventors. They continue the traditions of their predecessors and, relying on modern war experience, create advanced and unique weapons and begin mass production of them,” Putin said.
