Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Donald Trump claimed in a message on the social network "Truth Social" that he had reviewed Iran's response and was not satisfied with its content.
He wrote in this message: "I just read the response from the so-called Iranian representatives. I do not like it; it is totally unacceptable."
These statements come after Iran sent its official response to the US proposal on Sunday, May 10, through Pakistan as a mediator between Tehran and Washington.
Trump also announced in an interview with the Axios news website that he had a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about Iran's response.
He added: "I spoke with Netanyahu about Iran's response" and emphasized that "negotiating with Iran is my responsibility, not anyone else's."
These statements come at a time when political tensions between Tehran and Washington, along with the role played by the Israeli regime, have cast a shadow over the atmosphere of negotiations and regional developments in recent months.
According to observers, the simultaneous adoption of Washington's harsh stances with open consultations with Tel Aviv could indicate an attempt to manage political pressure on the negotiation process. Studies show that the involvement of regional actors in this process increases the likelihood of the diplomatic talks becoming more complicated.
