Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Hebrew website “Walla” has reported that the regime’s spy agency (Mossad) has been active in Iraq, and specifically in the Kurdistan Region, for decades.
The report states that Mossad has extensive and strong ties with the Kurds of northern Iraq and has helped them in the fields of training, intelligence guidance, military equipment, and technology.
This is while officials of the local government of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region have so far denied any presence of Mossad agents in the region.
According to the report, the Kurdistan Region, in addition to hosting American military bases, is also said to be home to some Kurdish groups opposed to Iran. The report also claims that these bases have been targeted by missile and drone attacks at various times.
