Iranian Ambassador to China: Beijing can play the role of guarantor of agreements related to Iran
Abdulreza Rahmani Fazli, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to China, said yesterday (Sunday) that it is possible that Beijing could be brought forward as a guarantor for any agreement on Iran.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Referring to the status of China and Russia as two great powers, he emphasized that Beijing, given its position with Iran and the countries of the region, can play an important role in guaranteeing any agreement.

According to him, the Islamic Republic of Iran has clearly stated that any agreement with the United States must be accompanied by credible guarantees so that the ground for imposing war against Iran is not created again in the future. He also claimed that the United States has taken actions twice in less than a year during diplomatic processes that, according to him, are considered “betrayals of diplomacy.”

Rahmani Fazli also emphasized that any agreement on Iran must be accompanied by guarantees from the great powers and be raised within the framework of the United Nations, especially the Security Council.
