Zionist media: Beijing will not bow to Washington’s pressure against Tehran
A Zionist media outlet, referring to the US President’s weekend visit to Beijing, wrote that China is not willing to put pressure on Tehran to fulfill Washington’s wishes.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Zionist newspaper “Israel Hume” has written in a report that the issue of Iran will also be raised in the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping. According to the media outlet, Washington is trying to influence Beijing to pressure Iran to end the war, but China is not willing to accept such a role.

The media outlet further warned about what it called “the sacrifice of the interests of US allies” in this meeting, adding that in the process of negotiations between the two powers, the interests of countries such as Taiwan, Japan and South Korea may be overshadowed by economic agreements.

Israel Hume also reported dissatisfaction among some Gulf Arab countries with the US approach to the Iran war, writing that these countries have expressed concern about the lack of sufficient coordination and the possibility of their interests being ignored in negotiations with Tehran; an issue that, according to the media outlet, could pave the way for China’s increased influence in the region.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Donald Trump will visit Beijing from May 13 to 15 at the invitation of Xi Jinping. This is the first visit by a US president to China in nearly nine years and Trump’s first visit to the country since his first term in office in 2017.

The visit comes at a time when tensions between Washington and Beijing over political, economic and security issues have increased. At the same time, the fragile ceasefire between the US and Iran and the continuing tensions on energy routes have increased pressure on global markets, making this trip one of the most important diplomatic events of the year.
