Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Higher Education issued a press release stating that the delegation will participate in the International Conference "Russia and the Islamic World", which will be held from May 13 to 15 this year in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan.
It is also planned to hold the first meeting of the Joint Economic and Trade Commission between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and Russia on the sidelines of this conference, at the request of Moscow.
It is said that the meeting will discuss the expansion of economic, trade and bilateral cooperation between the two sides.
It is worth noting that Russia has been trying to expand its political and economic relations with the Islamic Emirate in recent months. Previously, officials from the two countries had discussed developing cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations at various regional and economic meetings.
