Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Al-Mawazin News, Ali Al-Hamdani, one of the commanders of the Popular Mobilization Forces, announced that the military operation titled "Implementing Sovereignty" has begun today (Tuesday) in the deserts of Najaf Ashraf and Karbala-e-Ma'ali from four axes with the aim of securing the communication route between Karbala-e-Ma'ali and the Al-Nukhib region.
He added that this operation was carried out on the orders of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and under the supervision of the Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The Wall Street Journal had previously reported, citing informed sources, including American officials: Israel had established a secret military center in the Iraqi desert to support its airstrikes against Iran.
According to leaked information, at the beginning of the war, the Zionist regime launched an airstrike on Iraqi forces who had reached the base in order to prevent the location from being exposed.
