Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office announced that Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, discussed with officials from the World Food Program (WFP) about strengthening the local economy, supporting the needy, and creating job opportunities.
In this meeting, Mr. Hanafi emphasized addressing the situation of the needy, especially those affected by natural disasters, and called for creating job opportunities for returnees. He also emphasized hiring and utilizing the country’s domestic capacities in various projects and programs.
Meanwhile, Carl Skauf has assured that the World Food Program will continue to support affected families and malnourished children in Afghanistan.
It is worth noting that the World Food Program has been one of the major aid agencies in Afghanistan in recent years, with extensive activities in the distribution of food aid, support for vulnerable families, and care for malnourished children.
