Trump: We are looking for a good deal with Iran
On his way to China, the US President, claiming to support the Iranian people, announced that Washington will not sign any agreement with Tehran unless it is a "good deal" from the US perspective.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): US President Donald Trump today (Wednesday) reiterated his repeated statements about Iran and said that no deal will be signed with Iran unless it is a "good deal" and in a way that, according to him, is beneficial for both the American and Iranian peoples.

While leaving the White House for Andrews Air Force Base to travel to China, Trump added that he would hold detailed talks with the Chinese President about the war against Iran and claimed: "We do not need any help from China in the Iran issue and we will win in any way."

The discussion of a “good deal” comes at a time when Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, in a meeting with the Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister yesterday, had identified the US side’s overbearing approach and threatening rhetoric, as well as the lack of goodwill and honesty, as the most important obstacles to reaching an agreement and ending tensions.

The US President continued his remarks by saying: “We will soon see good things happening in Iran, oil prices will decrease and an unprecedented flow of oil will be created.”

He also once again emphasized the policy of pressure on Iran and stated that the country will not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.

Meanwhile, Iran has repeatedly stated that it is not seeking to build nuclear weapons and is not pursuing a nuclear weapons program, while according to previous reports, the US and the Zionist regime took actions against Iranian soil on February 28 with the same claim.

In another part of his speech, Trump also criticized NATO, saying that the end of the war in Ukraine is near, adding: "We don't need NATO."
